Fine Gael Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Lucinda Creighton T.D. paid an official visit to DCU on Monday March 12TH to launch a jobs initiative designed to encourage more Irish students to consider working in the EU when they leave college. Ms Creighton, a qualified Barrister, is also a DCU Alumnus, having undertaken a Masters (LLM) in International Relations here in DCU in 2008.

The EUJOBS.IE initiative is designed to encourage students to consider careers working directly within EU institutions or in one of hundreds of related organisations. There are plenty of opportunities and different roles and internships available. The competition for the EU Civil Service begins in March each year.
