PRACE workshop in Dublin Castle, 14/15 March

IASI award

A strategically significant international workshop, attended by around 70 of Europe's top computational scientists and supported by Dublin City University, will be held in Dublin Castle on the 14 and 15 March.

The PRACE workshop has been organised by Dr Turlough Downes, lecturer in DCU's School of Mathematical Sciences, with Prof Richard Kenway OBE (Edinburgh), Prof Dr Thomas Lippert (Head of Juelich Supercomputing Centre) and Dr Maria Ramalho (Managing Director of PRACE). It forms an integral part of the development of the PRACE Scientific Case for 2012 - 2020 and will underpin the development of PRACE for the next 8 years.

This is strategically significant for top-tier European computational science, and for large-scale procurement of high performance computing systems.
