DCU Ryan Academy professional sales education courses

DCU Ryan Academy has partnered with Business Training Solutions Ireland to exclusively deliver its internationally-recognised, ECTS accredited Graduate Diploma in Sales Coaching and Diploma in Professional Selling to sales professionals and managers throughout Ireland. The programmes, delivered using a unique blended methodology (online and classroom based) over 40 weeks, are designed to dramatically improve sales team performance and sales management capability.

Nicola Byrne, founder and Chief Executive of 11890.ie has today highlighted investment in the education and upskilling of sales professionals as a key driver of economic success during the downturn.

Speaking at the launch of the DCU Ryan Academy/BTSI Diploma in Sales Coaching and Diploma in Professional Selling, Ms Byrne said,

'Sales people are the life-blood of companies operating across all sectors of commercial activity – without high-performing, dynamic and well-educated sales people, businesses will remain stagnant. In the current economic climate, even the most successful companies cannot afford to rest on their laurels; rather, by investing in its sales force, a company can propel itself to the next level of commercial success. The BTSI courses offered by DCU Ryan Academy chart a pathway to achieving this success.'

Ann Horan, CEO of the DCU Ryan Academy said,

'Offering these education programmes at the Ryan Academy signifies a unique collaboration of industry, academia and commercialisation. We know from our daily engagement with enterprise here at the Academy that sales and sales management are key skills needed to run a successful business. We are very excited about the potential of these professional selling programmes to help Irish business to grow and compete in an increasingly challenging business environment.'

According to Mairead Cosgrave, CEO of BTSI,

'This is a natural partnership in terms of bringing a national focus to the important role that the profession of selling has to play in Ireland's economic recovery. The BTSI qualifications provide a full suite of sales tools including templates for planning, recording, process improvement and forecasting, all of which bring consistency to the sales function and allow for more transparent and robust performance management. Now is the time for companies to invest in their sales staff to ensure growth and stability in a difficult economy.'
