DCU Engineering and Computing Open Day and online Q and A

The Faculty of Engineering and Computing in DCU would like to invite prospective engineering and computing students to visit the facilities on Friday 10th of April from 2:15pm – 4:30pm.

The event will provide students with a unique opportunity to meet with course chairs and current students as well as an opportunity to watch live demonstrations in the labs and to ask any questions they may have about studying engineering or computing at DCU.

The open day will take place in the Engineering Building (code S on the map) http://www.dcu.ie/sites/default/files/campus_map_large.gif, with talks starting at 2:15pm in the Atrium. For students who cannot attend, there will be a live information session from 3-5pm where DCU staff will be on hand to answer any questions students may have on the courses they are interested in.

  • 2:15pm: Rolling presentation in room number SG14
  • 2:45pm: Live demonstrations in the foyer with open questions to academics and students about the courses on offer
  • 3:30pm: Optional tour to see the rest of campus
  • 3:00pm  - 4:30pm: Live Online Q&A Engineering and Computing Information session
