Success for DCU graduates in Irish Tax Institute Exams

Three DCU Business School graduates were awarded prizes at the recent Irish Tax Institute annual conferring ceremony for success in their professional examinations. 

Eamon O’Connor, BA (Accounting & Finance), MSc (Accounting) received first place in the August 2015 sitting of the Part 2 CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) qualification. Eamon works with PwC.

Eoin Foley, BA (Accounting & Finance), MSc (Accounting) received second place in the May 2015 sitting of the Part 3 CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) qualification. Eoin works with PwC.

Donal Rochford, BA (Accounting & Finance), MSc (Accounting) received third place in the May 2015 sitting of the Part 3 CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) qualification. Donal works with KPMG.

Speaking about these awards, Cáit Monagher, Tax Manager, Education Irish Tax Institute noted, "As always, DCU alumni performed particularly well at the exams. It is a wonderful achievement for the students and a great endorsement for DCU, so congratulations!"

All three prize winners are graduates from the DCU Business School MSc in Accounting programme, one of the leading graduate accounting programme of its kind in Ireland, which offers students the opportunity to study for a Masters qualification and at the same time gain exemptions from professional examinations.
