Arabian Juvenile GAA Development Programme

Riyadh GAA and Dublin City University have announced the launch of the Saudi Arabian Juvenile GAA Development Programme.

DCU, with its Sigerson Cup, O'Connor Cup and O'Byrne Cup heritage, lead the Business Faculty at Riyadh's Princess Noura University (PNU), and has aligned with Naomh Alee, the longest established GAA Club in the Middle East for this initiative.

The programme supports football and hurling development and personal fitness through Gaelic Games, for parents and children in the central Saudi Arabian region.

At the launch in the Irish Embassy were Sean O'Sullivan (Club Secretary), Charlie Sullivan (Club President), Caroline McGroary (DCU@PNU), Ambassador Tony Cotter, Valerie Shanahan (DCU@PNU) and Patrick Moynagh (Club Chairman).
