DCU again named as one of the Worlds Top Young Universities

For the eighth year running, Dublin City University has been ranked in the top 100 of the world’s young universities, with a ranking of 94.

The Times Higher Education Young University Rankings list the world’s best universities that are aged 50 years or under. They aim to highlight a new breed of high-performing universities that have managed to join the world elite over decades rather than centuries, and that have the potential to become the next global academic powerhouses.

President of DCU, Professor Brian MacCraith, welcomed DCU’s success in these newly published rankings: “While recognising that ranking systems are limited in their ability to capture the quality and impact of universities, DCU is very pleased to maintain its position in the top 100 of the World’s Young Universities. This is a testament to the commitment, excellence and expertise of our staff in DCU across all areas of our activity”.
