Annual Public Lecture series Understanding Mental Health starts at DCU
The DCU School of Nursing and Human Sciences annual Public Lecture series "Understanding Mental Health" starts this evening (Wednesday March 6th) from 7.00 to 8.30pm at the School of Nursing.
The annual series is delivered by academics and practitioners who research and work in the area of mental health and related areas.
The series of lectures will take place every Wednesday (March 6, 13, 20, 27, and April 3, 10 and 17)

March 6th: Living with suicide and suicide related behaviours - responding and making sense; Dr Evelyn Gordon
March 13th: The Dublin North, North East Recovery College -Our story so far: Creating an inclusive culture of mental health recovery in the community; John Kelly and Gary Nolan
March 20th: Perfectionism: A double edged sword; Dr Rosaleen McElvaney
March 27th: Recovery in the context of mental health; Siobhan Russell and Martha Griffin
April 3rd: Living well with the consequences of cancer; Dr Simon Dunne
April 10th: Apps, online programmes and other digital resources to improve mental well-being; Manuela Ascari
April 17th: The role of nutrition in health and wellbeing; Dr Mary Rose Sweeney
