Colgate-Palmolive visits DCU

DCU is pleased to welcome a visiting delegation from Colgate-Palmolive Corporate and Colgate-Palmolive Dublin to DCU today (Wednesday, May 22nd).

The visit will focus on the university's expertise in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning and data analytics.

The delegation will learn about the courses available, research opportunities and the work that is happening across the university in these areas, including at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics.

The group will also visit DCU Alpha, DCU’s innovation campus.

Colgate manufactures and markets oral care, personal care, home care and pet nutrition products under such internationally recognized brand names such as Colgate, Palmolive, Speed Stick, Irish Spring, Protex, Sanex and Ajax.

The company has 37,900 employees and it markets its extensive range of products in 200 countries.

Colgate-Palmolive’s Support Service Organization is based in Citywest, Dublin and employs 60 plus people.
