Go Global 4 Growth Programme Launch – Top Teams Turn Ambition into Action

Today marked the launch of the fourth Go Global 4 Growth Programme delivered by DCU Business School for Enterprise Ireland. Go Global is a unique programme aimed at ambitious SMEs who are hungry to grow, professionalise and increase their global reach.

The programme, led by Prof. Finian Buckley, will see 16 Innovative Irish SMEs on a growth journey over the next 7 months with three two-day expert modules hosted by the Business School. The programme is for the SME top management teams, with three or more managers from each firm attending the workshops, which focus on topics such as Strategy Development, Innovation and Operational Excellence.

Together, Enterprise Ireland and DCU Business School have designed a unique and innovative blended learning programme where participants will learn from the best and apply that in-company with the support of a dedicated Growth Advisor from Strategy Crowd. This will collate to over 20 hours of specialist coaching that will work with each participant on a one-to-one basis as his or her leadership coach and on a team basis working with the participants top team in-company. The role of the Growth Advisor is to challenge and support each firm, ensuring they can easily implement the programme content to the needs of their business.

The Go Global programme has seen nearly 50 SMEs (150 managers) attend DCU each year over the last 4 years, representing the largest ever leadership development programme for SMEs in Ireland.
