Welcome to the DCU Commercial Group/Campus Companies section of the University's Website.
This section provides information on the DCU Campus and it has been provided by the Office of the Chief Operations Officer. For further information on the campus companies please click on the relevant sections below.
The University owns (both directly & indirectly) a number of commercial companies that provide services to its students, staff and members of the public and which also contribute financially to the University. These companies are collectively known as the 'DCU Commercial Group' or the 'Campus Companies'. Details of their principal activities and charitable status are provided below.
All of the companies are directly owned and managed by DCU Educational Support Services DAC (DCU ESS DAC) which is owned and managed by the University with the exception of Dunroamin Properties DAC which is owned directly by the University.
DCU ESS DAC has a separate Board of Management and committee structure to that of the University.
The majority, but not all, of the University's campus companies are actively trading.
The University has charitable status and its CRA registration number is 20013653.
