Academic Systems Overview
Established in 2017, Academic Systems supports the Vice President of Academic Affairs (Registrar) in exercising strategic ownership and oversight of core Academic Business Systems. Reporting to the Academic Secretary, the unit is comprised of a team of business analysts and is tasked with ensuring business processes are effectively supported via the Academic Systems within it’s remit.
Working closely with ISS and relevant business units, Academic Systems compliments and enhances existing business solutions and process expertise, giving particular consideration to:
- Understanding the business needs for all of the business area processes that make use of the systems supported by Academic Systems.
- Optimisation of those business systems and related process improvements.
