MySkills Week
Join us for MySkills Week across DCU's Glasnevin and St Patrick's campuses.
Through interactive experiences, virtual reality, and employer-led sessions, you'll discover how to identify, develop, and communicate the transversal skills that employers value.
Whether you're already using MySkills or new to the platform, this week offers practical opportunities to strengthen your understanding of DCU's Transversal Skills Framework and how to showcase your capabilities effectively.
Kick off MySkills Week with a campus-wide interactive experience from 9am-4pm. Take the Skills Quiz with student ambassadors and join us at The Spark, opposite the restaurant. Discover what transversal skills are, how to identify them in your experiences, and how MySkills helps you evidence your development. Complete the skills journey to enter a draw for Ryanair vouchers. A drop-in MySkills and Career clinic runs all day in the O' Reilly Library foyer for questions and support.
Practice communicating your skills in an interview setting. You can book a 40-minute Virtual Reality and in-person mock interview session at The Spark and receive AI-enhanced feedback on your interview skills. Or if you have less time, book a 20 minute VR only mock interview slot.
Visit our Eventbrite page to learn more and book in your slot.
Students at St Patrick's and All Hallows Campus can get the full interactive experience from 9am-4pm. Find the student ambassadors to take the Skills Quiz, visit the Library Lobby to learn more about Transversal Skills, receive MySkills platform training, or take part in a VR mock interview. Complete activities to enter a prize draw for Ryanair voucher.
