Prioritising your Mental Health: Fireside chat with Brent Pope, Founder of the Elephant in the Room
Course Code for Core Registration DCU256
The Elephant in the Room is coming to DCU!
On 6th October DCU People are delighted to welcome Jia, our Elephant in the Room sculpture. Jia, designed by DCU student Fiona Rutledge, will stand as a symbol of the conversations we too often avoid. Mental health is an essential part of our lives, yet it is often the 'elephant in the room', a topic that goes unspoken. By bringing it into the open, Jia encourages dialogue, awareness, and positive change.
Join us on 6th October to celebrate the arrival of Jia.
DCU will welcome Brent Pope, rugby analyst, author, and mental health advocate for a fireside chat with Gareth Yore, Vice President for People, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
Fireside Chat from 12:00 pm
Refreshments will be served following the event.
