This interactive workshop breaks down DCU's Dignity and Respect Policy and Sexual Misconduct Policy. It demonstrates their practical relevance to your day to day working life. Beyond understanding your rights, responsibilities and available reporting pathway, this session focuses on practical application. Through scenario based learning, you will navigate everyday workplace situations and practice applying policy principles in real time to foster an inclusive & respectful university community.
Workshop Objectives
- Key policies made simple The main takeaways from the Dignity and Respect and Sexual Misconduct policies including roles and responsibilities as well as reporting options and processes.
- Connect Policy to Daily Practice: Recognise how policy principles apply directly to everyday interactions, team dynamics and workplace culture.
- Apply Learning Through Scenarios: Work through DCU specific interactive scenarios.
- Practical signposting: How to guide others to the right support.
