In Conversation with the Artists – Launch of 'My Offerings to Oshun', the latest addition to the DCU Art Collection

To mark Black History Month, the EDI team and the Cultural Arts Office are hosting an exclusive fireside chat with artists Nicole Covurluian and Lauryn Creamer Nwadike to launch My Offerings to Oshun, exploring their creative practice and themes of identity, belonging and representation.

My Offerings to Oshun, a vibrant collaborative painting by emerging Irish artists Lauryn Creamer Nwadike and Nicole Maria Covurluain, is the latest addition to the DCU Art Collection. Rich in colour and symbolism, the painting explores friendship, identity, belonging and the experience of coming of age. It brings a striking new presence to campus and adds to a collection that seeks to reflect the diverse experiences and perspectives of our university community. The acquisition was supported by DCU People and the DCU Race Equality Working Group as part of their ongoing work to support a more inclusive university community.

Staff and students are welcome to attend.
