This interactive workshop equips participants to notice and respond safely and effectively in situations where someone may be at risk or treated unfairly. You’ll explore what it means to be an active bystander, understand the steps from noticing an issue to taking action, and practice practical ways to intervene.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the role and responsibility of an active bystander
  • Identify opportunities to safely intervene in challenging situations
  • Apply practical strategies to support others and prevent harm
  • Reflect on personal confidence and barriers to taking action

Through practical exercises and discussion, you’ll build confidence in responding positively to everyday situations, contributing to a safer, more inclusive environment.
