EVO is an enhancement to your Core (PeopleXD) Portal. It is a platform that serves as an intelligent "connective tissue" across various business products. The tools you usually rely on, such as leave balances or manager approvals haven't changed, but the experience is now more streamlined and responsive.
EVO, the new face of Core (PeopleXD), enhances how you view your information without changing the underlying data or removing any existing tools.
Getting Started
- Log into Core (PeopleXD) as usual via the DCU Apps page.
- Explore your new dashboard.
- Check notifications as they start to appear.
Follow our step-by-step guide to find your way around the new layout.
What’s coming next?
Over the coming months we’ll add more in stages:
- Training and development — learning and compliance records through the same login
- Reporting and insights — workforce trends and team data for managers
- Personalised Spaces - Custom Dashboards view your leave balances, recent payslips, and personal info in one place.
If you have any questions please contact us using the DCU People Helpdesk.

The Staff Request Application (SRA) is DCU’s requisition process software for temporary appointments. Hiring Managers use it to request budgetary, DCU People and Finance approval. The SRA process dovetails with the contract management process operated through PeopleXD.
You should first discuss your need to be set up as a requisitioner with your line manager and the budget holder for your specific area.
