Thank you for your interest in the role of Senior Director of Academic Governance, Operations and Systems at Dublin City University.
To support this next phase of institutional development, we are establishing a new senior leadership role to strengthen professional oversight across academic governance, operations, systems and institutional transformation.
As a key member of my senior team, the Senior Director will play a critical role in shaping the future academic services model for the University. This is a strategically significant leadership position with responsibility for driving operational excellence, business led digital systems and capabilities, strengthening governance and ensuring our academic services remain agile, integrated and future-focused.
The successful candidate will bring strong strategic leadership, operational credibility and the ability to build trusted partnerships across academic and professional communities. This is a role for a leader who is comfortable navigating complexity, delivering change at scale and creating alignment across diverse stakeholders.

Position Overview
DCU Glasnevin
The role of Senior Director of Academic Governance, Operations and Systems is a newly established senior professional leadership position within Dublin City University. Created to strengthen executive leadership across academic governance, academic operations and systems-enabled transformation, this role will sit at the centre of DCU’s evolving academic services operating model. This is both a strategic and operational leadership role, requiring the successful candidate to lead through senior functional teams while partnering closely with academic leadership, faculties and professional services.
