Please find below a list of FAQs on Spring Graduation 2021.

Your parchment will be issued by registered post in March 2021. 

Please ensure that you log into My Details on the Student Apps Page to confirm both your postal address and name are correct on the DCU system. 

When you log into My Details, navigate to the Biographical section. If you need to update your postal address, you can do so while logged in there.

Further details on these checks are listed in the following FAQs. Please complete this check by 12pm on Friday 26th February.

Your parchment will be issued to the postal address recorded on the DCU Student system. It is important that you check this for accuracy and update (if required). You can do so by logging into My Details on the Student Apps Page. When you log in, navigate to the Biographical section.

Please complete this check before 12pm on Friday 26th February 2021.  If you experience any issues and need to update your postal address, please contact the Graduation Team at graduation@dcu.ie

If your postal address is International, we recommend that you make yourself familiar with the destinations that An Post are currently delivering to and if there are any delays or restrictions in place.

Your name will be printed on your parchment as it appears on the DCU Student system. You can also check this in the Biographical section of My Details on the Student Apps Page

The date on your parchment represents the date on which Academic Council conferred the award on you. 

Your Diploma Supplement will be issued to you shortly after your parchment has been processed.

Phelan Conan Ltd are currently offering free nationwide home delivery on all graduation gown hires for Dublin City University. This will enable you to celebrate your achievement for any personal arrangements you may wish to organise. Click on the link to see a short video Graduate at home with gowns from Phelan Conan. 

Please visit www.phelanconan.com and select ‘graduate gown hire’ to book your gown (€43 with free nationwide home delivery). The gown will then be delivered to your address. You can specify when you require the gown under 'special requirements'. Please note the graduation date listed on the online order system is simply a deadline for placing your order. It does not represent an actual ceremony or event. 

In addition, if you held a booking with Phelan Conan and also wish to schedule a photography session, Lafayette Photography will arrange the provision of your robe for the studio sitting upon presentation of a proof of payment.

Yes, Lafayette Photography is offering private studio appointments, where you and your family can avail of professional graduation and family photographs (when it is safe to do so). 

In addition, if you held a booking with Phelan Conan and also wish to schedule a photography session, Lafayette Photography will arrange the provision of your robe for the studio sitting upon presentation of a proof of payment.

Yes, as a DCU graduate, your DCU student email address is an address for life. All future communications on the graduation event will be issued to this account. We recommend you continue to monitor this or forward it to a preferred email. 

It will be scheduled when and where it is safe to do so. Further details will be communicated to your DCU email account during 2021.
