Non-EU Postgraduate Programmes Payment of Programme Fees

Postgraduate Applicants must pay their deposit through PAC.  Where a payment is made through any other process, applicants will not be able to accept their offer.

To secure your place at DCU you must pay the full fee for your programme which must be received by DCU:-

  1. no later than two weeks after the offer reply date indicated by the Postgraduate Applications Centre (PAC); or if earlier
  2. the time of presentation for registration

** Payments of Programme Fees should not be sent to the Postgraduate Applications Centre **

Please note under no circumstances can arrangements be made with students to pay Non EU fees in installments

Methods Of Payment

You can choose from any of the following methods of payment:

Please use your student number on your offer letter as the bank reference. Please email us a copy/ screen shot of the payment to international.office@dcu.ie 

2. Credit Card

All credit cards/laser cards, except American Express, are acceptable.

Please note: a daily limit of €1,500 applies to all LASER CARDS only.

Please directly contact the Fees Office in Finance to make the payment. 

3. PayToStudy facility 

PaytoStudy is a service which offers you the opportunity to pay your tuition fees directly from your home country reducing costs and ensuring the university receives the fee payment quickly in order to issue you with your Visa support letter.

  1. Please visit International Student Payments to register your details online with PaytoStudy. 
    Here you will receive your payment instructions regarding how to pay your fees.
  2. This website allows you or your parents/relatives to make a payment from your home country to DCU. 
    Please follow the online instructions. The website will automatically provide you with the total amount to pay and will provide you with the bank details in your home country into which the bank transfer should be made. 
  3. Please note the reference number for making your payment. Please make your payment using this reference number to the bank account indicated. 
    If your parents/relatives are making the bank transfer please provide them with the bank details, the total amount to pay and the reference number for the payment. 
  4. Please email your payment receipt to confirm@paytostudy.com. Your payment will immediately issued to DCU and you will receive an emailing confirming that the payment has been made on your behalf to DCU.

NOTE: If this is the first time that you have made a payment to DCU, you will be asked to email a scanned copy of your passport and proof of address to confirm@paytostudy.com

Study Visas and Other Overseas Information

Applicants are asked to supply the following information when applying for a visa at their local Irish Embassy

  • Valid passport number
  • Date of issue and expiry of passport
  • Date, place and mode of arrival in Ireland
  • Evidence of sufficient funds to cover living and other expenses for the applicants proposed stay
  • Recent passport photographs
  • Visa application fees
  • Letter from DCU indication that the applicant has been offered a place in DCU and has paid his/her full fees

The letter, required by the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform, is issued by the University.

Should you require such a letter, please e-mail registry@dcu.ie indicating:

  • The programme that you have been offered
  • Your Postgraduate Applications Centre (PAC) Number
  • The amount you have paid and the method by which you have paid.

We would advise you to contact your nearest Irish Embassy or Consulate to obtain information about other necessary documents, which may vary according to your home country

In the case of overseas applicants, where, in order to extract funds from your home country, it is necessary to get an offer letter stipulating your personal details and amount of fees, please email international.office@dcu.ie
