Dublin City University rises to 408th in the world in 2027 QS rankings
Dublin City University has been ranked 408th in the new QS World University Rankings, released today by global higher education analyst QS Quacquarelli Symonds.
The QS World University Rankings are compiled in partnership with tens of thousands of higher education institutions. They incorporate data points from millions of academic papers as well as the views of more than 151,000 academics and over 100,000 employers.
The University has also had a standout year in the QS Sustainability Rankings rising 61 places to 114th Globally, which also places DCU 3rd in Ireland in the category. DCU’s commitment to sustainable development is longstanding and wide ranging.
DCU President Prof Dáire Keogh said:
“These latest rankings reflect DCU’s advance across a range of metrics in an increasingly competitive global Higher Education landscape. While the overall score is moving slowly, it is pleasing to see significant advances in the component elements, Sustainability, International Research Network and International Student Ratio metrics.
I want to commend colleagues across DCU for their continued hard work and dedication, which are the foundation of our positive international standing.”
There was also an 89 place improvement in the University’s International Research Network ranking, rising to 292nd globally. The International Student Ratio ranking also saw significant improvement as DCU rose 62 places.
