Horizon 2020 Information Session

Climate Action (Societal Challenge 5) and Marine elements of Societal Challenge 2 Food security

When: Thursday 5 May 2016, 11.00-13.30

Where: Seminar Room, Top Floor, Invent, Glasnevin Campus

Alice Wemaere and Mark Sweeney, National Contact Points for SC5 (Climate action, environment, resource efficiency and raw materials) will give a joint information session on upcoming funding opportunities available under Horizon 2020 in conjunction with Fiona Grant, Marine Institute, NCP for SC2 (Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy) who will give an overview of the marine elements of the SC2 work prorgamme.  The session will also include an overview of the supports available through InterTrade Ireland for cross border collaboration.

This information session will be of relevance to researchers in the areas of: Marine research; Environment; Water; Climate services; Raw materials, and the Social Sciences.

There will also be an opportunity for individuals to meet one-to-one with the National Contact Points to discuss calls of interest. To register for this event please complete the form at the bottom of this page.
