Research Newsletter - Issue 116: Information and Updates

Our IReL publisher agreements provide coverage for DCU authors to publish in gold and hybrid open access journals.  Some of these agreements are limited to a certain number of articles across the calendar year, with the allocations shared across the member institutions.  See below for the latest projections on when this year’s allocations from the various publishers will run out:

• July  –  Springer, Taylor & Francis
• September  –  Wiley Gold
• October  –  Elsevier, Oxford University Press
• November  –  IEEE, Wiley Hybrid

Authors should note that credits must be available at the point of acceptance, not at initial submission.

Publishers not listed above are expected to last for the full year.  You can find all these projections on the publishers table on the Open Access web page.
