Dr Deirdre Ní Chonghaile (Comhalta taighde): Tá céimeanna sa Cheol aici ó Ollscoil Oxford agus Coláiste na hOllscoile Corcaigh. D’fhoilsigh sí Collecting Music in the Aran Islands: A Century of History and Practice (Preas Ollscoile Wisconsin, 2021). Ó 2012 i leith, bhí comhaltachtaí taighde aici in Ollscoil Notre Dame, Leabharlann na Comhdhála, Ollscoil Nua-Eabhrac, agus Ollscoil na Gaillimhe. D’oibrigh sí ar an suíomh Bailiúchán Béaloidis Árann. Spéis aici i bhforbairt na gcartlann, i gcomhoibriú le pobail agus le healaíontóirí, agus i stair chultúrtha na nGael i gcéin.

Dr Deirdre Ní Chonghaile (Research fellow) has degrees in Music from Oxford University and University College Cork. She published Collecting Music in the Aran Islands: A Century of History and Practice (University of Wisconsin Press, 2021). Since 2012, she has held research fellowships in the University of Notre Dame, Library of Congress, New York University, and the University of Galway. She worked on the website Bailiúchán Béaloidis Árann. Interested in developing archives, collaborating with communities and artists, and in the cultural history of the Irish diaspora.
