At DCU, everyone has the right to a safe environment free from sexual misconduct, bullying, and harassment. We maintain a zero-tolerance stance on misconduct to ensure all members of our community are treated with dignity and respect. This section provides clear roadmaps to the formal definitions and procedures that protect your rights at work and study.
What do these policies say?
- Policy Statements: The high-level commitments made by the University to build and maintain an environment that is safe, respectful, supportive and positive as well as the steps taken to investigate reports fairly and provide adequate resources for support.
- Your Responsibilities: Outlines the collective duty all community members have to conduct themselves respectfully, take responsibility for their behaviour and challenge misconduct when they witness it.
- Procedures (The "How-To"): While policies define what is unacceptable, the procedures documents explain the practical steps for making informal or formal reports and what to expect from the process.
