RPA Research Event Support Service
What you need to know
The DCU RPA Team provides research event support services on a funded basis. The service is comparable to external Professional Conference Organiser. Types of research events supported include, but are not limited to Conferences (National and International), Symposia, Workshops, Project Meetings, etc hosted within Ireland.

The RPA Team’s services are comparable to external Professional Conference Organisers, and support is available for all types of events, such as Conferences, Symposia, Workshops, Project Meetings, etc. with customised support for full event management, as well as stand-alone, ad hoc support packages available, based on hourly administrative rates or your available funding.
The RPA Team has a wealth of experience with large Conferences and Symposia, and we can provide a full range of professional services to assist in the organisation of your large Research Event. There are several support packages available which can be tailored to suit your event needs according to your available budget. The non-exhaustive list of administrative activities that can be availed of for your event include general administration, bid preparation, budget preparation, and book of abstract compilation (see listing here).
Billing is based on an assessment following an initial consultation outlining your event requirements and support requested. Ideally, support for your Research Event should be requested as far in advance as possible to allow for adequate planning and preparation.
The RPA Team treats each Research Event with the same level of professionalism and dedication, and smaller Research Events such as Workshops, project meetings, and site visits are no exception.
RPA can provide several support packages that can be customised to your needs and “bought in” to augment support for any event you may be organising. Packages include general event support and administration (preparation of delegate name badges, signage, management of poster calls, preparation and compilation of book of abstracts, travel and accommodation arrangements for invited keynote speakers, as well as other support as required.

The above outlined Research Event supports are available on a per-hour billable basis to all academics across DCU's three campuses, in any Faculty, School, or Research Centre.
