Step into the heart of local action with The Tolka – This is Your River, an inspiring 2026 documentary directed by John Gormley. This compelling film showcases the power of community resilience, celebrating grassroots activists like the Tolka River Environmental Alliance (TREA) as they fight pollution, revive local wildlife, and restock the river with native brown trout. Inspiring and eye-opening, The Tolka calls on every generation to protect and cherish one of Dublin’s most vital waterways. Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion with director John Gormley and DCU Water Institute researchers.
