Ever wondered what’s lurking in your tap water or shedding from your kitchen cutting board? Step into the lab and test real Dublin water samples and everyday household items for microplastics. You’ll apply a specialised fluorescent dye, and illuminate the hidden contaminants under targeted light. Watch microplastics glow right before your eyes, snap stunning high-contrast images on your smartphone, and discover how plastic pollution makes its way into our food and environment.
This event runs on Wednesday 11 November across three sessions: 4:00pm, 5:15pm, and 6:30pm.
