About the Event:

The School of Health and Human Performance at Dublin City University is excited to host the 2026 meeting of the International Motor Development Research Consortium (I‑MDRC) UK & Ireland Motor Development Group. 

This event brings together researchers, academics, and postgraduate students passionate about motor development across the life span. Our goals are to:

• Advance collaborative research in motor development
   
• Foster new connections and partnerships
   
• Facilitate joint funding proposals
   
• Provide a supportive environment for sharing work and receiving feedback
  
   

This year’s event promises an engaging mix of keynote lectures, researcher and student presentations, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities.
