Dr Sinéad Smyth (BA Hons Psychology, PhD., PGCHEP) is a lecturer/assistant professor in psychology at the School of Nursing and Human Sciences, Dublin City University. She completed her BA and PhD studies in Psychology at the National University of Ireland Maynooth (now Maynooth University) in 2006. Following this, Sinéad worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Royal Holloway, University of London on an ESRC funded project overseen by Prof Michael Eysenck. She then worked as a Lecturer in Behaviour Analysis in the School of Psychology at the University of Ulster for four years before taking up her current role. In September 2017 she became Research Convenor and in January 2017 Deputy Head of School.
