Optional Modules

All students must take a 20-credit Specialism plus 10 credits of Optional Modules from the list of optional modules below. (Either a year-long 10-credit option or 5 credits per semester).

You could also choose one of the other specialism modules for your optional modules, instead of choosing from the list of optional modules. However, we cannot guarantee there won’t be a timetable clash. If there is, you will have to change your optional module choice to ensure that you can attend your specialism module lectures. 

*Students may select to take the Uaneen module PSK1000 as a contributory module in place of one of the optional modules in semester 2. 

Programme Chair Approval Required:

 - Students who successfully completed a pre-approved summer school may register for module BAA1024 (Business Summer School) in place of both Semester 1 and Semester 2 optional modules.

 - Students who successfully completed a pre-approved ECIU module may register for the module BAA1101 (ECIU) in place of a Semester 1 optional module.
