Message from Claire
Dear Students,
There is a real feeling of busy-ness in the air at the moment as you all prepare to submit assignments or sit exams. Don't panic, write up your lists of deadlines and break things down, you've got this!!
Things will quieten down on our side in terms of events, but please remember we are here right through the year if you need anything, so just get in touch by emailing student.support@dcu.ie
Have a good week!
Claire

Achieving Balance When Life Gets Busy
At this point in the academic year, we often hear from students that they plan to lock in and have no life until exams are done. This is a commendable level of commitment, but it can also be a recipe for demotivation, stress and burnout. Our advice is to always aim for lifestyle balance.
Take breaks throughout the day and make sure that you are getting enough food and hydration, some movement and fresh air. Connection is also important to stay motivated—check in with friends and family, even if it's just for a quick chat. A clear cut-off point in the evening, where you stop thinking about college and let your brain wind down, is essential for a good night's sleep.
