To become a sports physiologist and help passionate athletes perform at their best.

How you got involved in the sport

I joined the sport a little later than most but began training with the boys' in Clontarf as there was no girls' team.

Favourite method of recovery

Trigger point release with a tennis ball and some yoga to unwind.

Best sports advice you have received

It is your choices far more than your abilities that show what time of competitor you are.

Biggest challenge you have overcome in sport

I'm currently recovering from an ACL injury. I've never been out of sport for so long so it's definitely a new challenge for me!

Pre-competition rituals/superstitions

I try to avoid having any superstitions because it plays on my mind! I just try to stay relaxed and concentrate on my skills during the warm-up.

Something we don't know about you

I'm a big tennis fan and am lucky enough to have been to Wimbledon and The Australian Open.
