Launch of new Education for Sustainable Development Hub:
From the SDGs to Doughnut Economics

A Morning of Activities to Celebrate the Launch of DCUs Education for Sustainable Development Hub

On Tuesday, 26 May, the Teaching Enhancement Unit is launching a new resource that will bring together all of the available supports and resources related to ESD.

To celebrate, we will be hosting a morning of activities in The Spark (Albert College - AG49).

  • The SDGs to 2030 Game (facilitated by Dr Mark Kelly from ATU)
  • Step into the Doughnut (facilitated by Dr Lucia Walsh from TUD)

See the event page for more information!

Spaces are limited and registration is open now.

Compendium of Existing Good Practice

On Tuesday morning, we will also be launching the compendium of existing good practice. This new resource highlights and showcases modules that have integrated content, pedagogies, methodologies and assessment strategies related to ESD and other complementary approaches such as Global Citizenship Education, Human Rights Education and Development Education.

We’re hoping this will inspire more teaching staff to integrate ESD themes into their practice and may even allow academics to identify opportunities for collaboration or interdisciplinary approaches.

And it’s not too late to include your module, which you can do by completing this short form.
