Nominations for the DCU President’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching will close on March 13th. If you would like to nominate colleagues in any category, including that of teaching support staff, you only have a few days to do so! Details and nominations process available here.
Upcoming Sipping Point
Join us on Monday, March 9th at 11am for our next Sipping Point conversation, bringing together two perspectives on learning from teaching practice in very different contexts. GenAI Badge Achievement
Congratulations to colleagues who have successfully completed the GenAI for Teaching and Learning Digital Badge this semester!
We have enjoyed the journey with all the participants, and the very interesting discussions about teaching and learning practice in the GenAI era. More details on the next iteration of the course will be available soon. A kind reminder to colleagues who completed the badge: if you haven’t already, it would be great if you could fill out the end-of-course survey to help us improve future iterations of the course. Thank you!
ESD Ideas Exchange is Back for 2026: Last Chance to Register

This session will focus on what has been achieved over the past two years and what needs to be done now to deepen impact. We will be joined by Mark Kelly from the Higher Education Authority.
It is an online session, please register here.
Register for the DCU Spring 2026 Universal Design Badge Course

Participants who complete the course will be awarded a digital badge recognised by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning. The course will run from mid-April to early June.
Register your interest for the course via this form. For more info on the content of the UDL badge course, see this page, or you can reach out to steve.welsh@dcu.ie with any specific questions.
