Tá www.focal.ie weblink agus www.logainm.ie weblink agus na téarmaí Gaeilge ar www.iate.europa.eu click here faoi chúram FIONTAR. Tá acmhainní téarmaí dlí á bhforbairt freisin as ionstraimí reachtúla Gaeilge. Beidh na trí chomhaltacht taighde á riar i bpáirt leis na tionscadail téarmeolaíochta agus logainmneacha atá ar siúl sa scoil. Líonfar iad ar leibhéal MA/PhD/iar-PhD ag brath ar cháilíochtaí na n-iarrthóirí.

Tá FIONTAR i mbun taighde agus forbartha sa réimse forásach seo le blianta beaga anuas. Cuirfear fáilte roimh iarratais ó thaighdeoirí in aon ghné den teoiric nó den chleachtas a chuirfidh dlús leis an gclár oibre sin. Fáilteofar roimh thaighdeoirí a phléifidh deiseanna agus forbairtí éagsúla maidir le hacmhainní digiteacha, cibé sna tionscadail reatha nó i réimsí nua.

Faoi na tionscadail reatha, chuirfi fáilte roimh iarrthóir a thabharfadh faoi chartlannú agus chóiriú ar bhunábhar fuaime logainmneacha (a bailíodh ar fud na tíre ó 1961 i leith), agus a dhéanfadh na comhaid fuaime na cartlainne sin a nascadh le www.logainm.ie. weblink Chuirfí fáilte freisin roimh iarratais in aon ghné de théarmeolaíocht na Gaeilge, agus go háirithe sa sainréimse Téarmeolaíocht Dlí agus Reachtaíochta. Tá deis taighde ann d’iarrthóir ar suim leis stair na téarmeolaíochta Gaeilge sa réimse seo ó 1922 i leith, nó d’iarrthóir le spéis i gcruthú acmhainní corpais/bunachair mar thaca don aistriúchán sa sainréimse seo.

Riachtanais
Bunchéim onóracha sa Ghaeilge (2:1 ar a laghad). De réir an réimse taighde, bheadh cáilíocht nó taithí i réimsí an dlí, na n-ilmheán, na ríomhtheangeolaíochta, nó na cartlannaíochta, ina buntáiste ag iarrthóirí.

Luach na gcomhaltachtaí
Comhaltacht taighde MA (2 bhliain) ar €16,000 sa bhliain móide táillí clárúcháin.
Comhaltacht taighde PhD (3 bliana) ar €16,000 sa bhliain móide táillí clárúcháin.
Comhaltacht taighde iar-PhD (2 bhliain) ar €31,745 sa bhliain.

Are you interested in a career with the EU institutions? Are you considering a career in translation or interpreting? You are invited to attend a talk in CG86 at 2pm on Monday 6th April by Helen Campbell who works in the interpreting service of the European Commission in Brussels. Ms Campbell's presentation will focus on the realities of working for the EU instutions and other international organisations such as the United Nations and will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

For students who are unable to attend this event, a similar talk is scheduled for 6.30pm on the same day (Monday 6th April) in European Union House, 18 Dawson Street, Dublin 2 which you are welcome to attend. I am a Careers Consultant and have worked with your Careers Office giving workshops and seminars to DCU students on What Employers are Looking For, Active Job Search and Best Practises in CV and Interviews. I am currently doing research on What Graduates Want from Their Employers for an upcoming GradIreland presentation to employers.
