  The Irish Business Employers Organisation (IBEC) has launched a website to help graduates from recent years find jobs and get real life work experience. The initiative which is called Gradlink, is specifically aimed towards graduates who have been on the live register for three months.   Get your foot in the door to a career in research - participate in a summer research project at Dublin City University.

Project Description:-
Platinum-based chemotherapy is the current first-line therapy for ovarian cancer. Many clinical trials of chemotherapy have been conducted in this patient cohort, but no systematic review collates this information or translates it into a standard of care for clinical practice. This project will involve completing a systematic review of the use of vinca alkaloids in patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer.

Project Duration is 3 months, from June to August 2010, with flexible start and end dates. Work can be conducted at the DCU campus or partially from home depending on personal circumstances. Some travel to other university libraries in the Dublin area may occasionally be required.
