Get Mobile 2014

DCU Business School's MarketingLab and the Business Innovation Platform are pleased to invite you to our 5th annual free mini-conference on mobile marketing and technologies, Get Mobile 2014. The event will take place next Tuesday - 11th November - from 2pm - 6pm in the Mahony Hall of the Helix. The event is organised by DCU Business School's MarketingLab and the Business Innovation Platform.

“Get Mobile 2014” features presentations on current issues in mobile marketing and technologies including DCU mobile research, insights in to mobile trends, mobile marketing and case studies on mobile success stories.

This year's agenda includes an extended mobile marketing seminar from Alex Meisl, founder of Sponge & WiForia Ltd. and former Chairman of the UK Mobile Marketing Association. Sponge was the UK’s most successful and longest established mobile agency delivering mobile strategy, sites and applications for clients including Adidas, Autotrader, Barclays, Coca Cola, Dyson and McDonalds. Sponge was successfully sold in 2006 (described as best digital exit by the FT) and bought back the following year. He recently launched Wiforia, an agency that focuses on in-store engagement by turning Wi-Fi into a communications channel for companies such as Asda and EE.
