Academic biography
Brian is an Assistant Professor in
Psychology in the School of Psychology at Dublin City
University. Brian’s research interests are in eHealth (digital health), eHealth in the context of self-management of chronic illness (e.g., chronic pain), digital
behaviour change, user engagement, technology design using participatory methods, human computer interaction and more broadly in
health and behavioural psychology.
Research interests
Behaviour change and digital behaviour change in the context of health or eHealth (particularly in the area of chronic disease). Conceptualising and measuring user engagement in the context of digital interventions. Human computer interaction, with a specific focus on designing digital interventions in health and organisational settings.
