We are hiring Student Ambassadors for 2024/25!

Are you a current DCU undergraduate student who wants to represent the University?

Our Student Ambassadors play a pivotal role in representing and promoting DCU both on and off campus. They support the Student Recruitment Team in helping prospective students understand what DCU has to offer by sharing their own student experiences!
 

What are the responsibilities of a Student Ambassador?

— Lead Campus Tours

— Work DCU Open Days

— Speak about their courses at events like Higher Options, or school career fairs

— Online engagement with prospective students using the Unibuddy platform, social media takeovers, and webinars

— Work at other exciting DCU events like graduation ceremonies, V.I.P. campus tours, conferences, and hackathons
 

What skills/traits should a future ambassador possess?

— Great interpersonal skills

— Excellent time management to juggle university assignments and ambassador work

— A "get-up-and-go" attitude; enthusiastic to take on work!
 

How to apply

Please follow the steps below to apply.

Successful candidates will be interviewed on the Glasnevin Campus on Tuesday 28th, Wednesday 29th, and Thursday 30th May 2024.

This form will close at 5 pm on Friday 10th May. Late applications will not be accepted.

Remember, you can add a video submission to support your application!

Step 2: Await review

Wait for your submission to be assessed. 

You will be informed of the outcome before 5 pm on Friday 17th May and if you are successful, will be given an interview time and date. 

Step 3:
Step 3: Interviews

If your application is successful, you will be called for interview. 

Interviews will take place on the Glasnevin Campus on Tuesday 28th, Wednesday 29th, and Thursday 30th May 2024.
