Two DCU students advance to finals at 2017 DatSci Awards

DCU students Eva Mohedano & Mark Marsden are advancing to the finals of the 2017 DatSci Awards.  The award category, “Student of the Year,” sponsored by Core Media Ireland, features seven students who will present to a panel of judges on 17th August for the title.

Entries were chosen by leading data science experts from nineteen different organisations across Ireland.

The DatSci awards ceremony, hosted by Next Generation in association with CeADAR, will take place at Croke Park on 21st of September.  It will showcase major advances in the data science sector in eight different categories, including “Student of the Year.”

The awards were created to celebrate and honour those who have contributed to the data science talent in Ireland, as well as to bring the Irish and International Data Science Community closer together.
