In SALIS we offer a multilingual and multicultural environment in which to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Intercultural and Literary Studies, Language Studies, and Translation Studies.
We are offering three undergraduate programmes:
Applied Language and Intercultural Studies
This programme is aimed at students who wish to combine the study of Languages (French, German, Spanish, Irish, Japanese, Chinese) with either Translation Studies or Intercultural Studies. All students on this programme spend their third year of study at one of our partner universities .
International Business and Languages
This Joint Honours programme is aimed at students who wish to combine Languages (French, German, Japanese, Spanish) with (International) Business. All students on this programme spend their third year of study at one of our partner universities.

English Studies (Language for International Communication)
This is a 3-year BA programme aimed at non-native speakers of English and offers a mix of language study and an analysis of the social, political and intercultural contexts of English.
SALIS also contributes Language and Intercultural Studies modules to the three-year BA in Contemporary Culture and Society.
We are also offering five postgraduate programmes.
International applicants who do not meet the English entry requirements for our undergraduate degree programmes may qualify for our International Foundation Certificate programme which is designed specifically for non-native speakers of English. See also: Chinese Version, Arabic Version.
