School's Book Publication Success Shines in Faculty Book Festival

On 24 March 2023, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences celebrated staff publications from the last six years with a Faculty Book Festival held in O'Reilly Library on the DCU Glasnevin Campus. The event was conceived by Dr Gezim Vesoka of the School of Law & Government, along with Professor Sharon O'Brien, Associate Dean of Research, and with key support from Martha Carson.

In their presentation for the school, Dr Peter Admirand and Professor John O'Flynn highlighted the rich interdisciplinary and global recognition of the 20 books recently published by staff members in the last six years. All these books were proudly displayed in the room so participants could browse them (and hopefully order a few from local book shops!). The slides can be accessed here. Congratulations again to all faculty members who were part of this successful event.
