Research

The Adaptive sensors group (ASG) is the sensor element of the CLARITY: Centre for Sensor Web Technologies, a joint DCU-UCD research partnership funded by Science Foundation Ireland under 07/CE/I1147.

The ASG is located in the National Centre for Sensor Research (NCSR), the NCSR is a multidisciplinary research centre at Dublin City University (DCU) which encompasses staff from the Schools of Biotechnology, Physical and Chemical Sciences and Mechanical Engineering.

The Adaptive Sensors Group carry out research in a wide variety of areas including environmental monitoring, smart materials,wearables and microfluidics.
