Distinguished sculptor,
Robbie O'Carroll, has donated a sculpture called ‘The
Struggle’ to DCU Business School. The beautiful sculpture will take
pride of place in the School's boardroom.
Robbie O'Carroll is a member of the Arizona Artist Guild,
Allied Artist of America and former member of the Copley
Society of Boston.
O'Carroll, who is also an
Organizational Redesign and High Performance Team consultant, visited DCU
Business School this week to give a LInK seminar on ‘Teamwork for the Space
Age: Launching the Einstein Observatory'.
Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Robbie
O'Carroll has an extensive background in Operations, project
management and manufacturing. He is a graduate of Harvard University
and has published over 25 papers and book chapters and given
numerous lectures on technology, organizational design and high
performance/self-managed work teams.
O'Carroll is an expert on self
managing teams, having worked as project engineer on building the
Einstein Observatory for the Apollo Space Programme. He has
published extensively on self managing teams in US journals.
