Prof Brian Leavy and Prof Colm O'Gorman Key Speakers at 'Identifying and Marketing Business Ideas Seminar'

25th September 2009

Prof Brian Leavy and Prof Colm O'Gorman, both of DCU Business School, will be the key speakers at a seminar to be presented by the Royal Dublin Society on 8th October 2009.

Recognising the challenges facing Ireland in the current economic climate, this seminar, titled 'Identifying and Marketing Business Ideas', will focus on the generation of business ideas, entrepreneurship and the need for effective business strategies.

The 'Business Ideas Generation' presentation by Brian Leavy will highlight the renewed interest in innovation in the corporate as well as the SME sector, and how many of today's most successful products and businesses were launched in recessionary times.

The 'Making it Happen' presentation by Colm O'Gorman will look at how people bring new innovations to market by creating new firms and will identify resources to help you in starting a business.

The evening will feature these two main presentations, and also case studies and networking opportunities.
