DCU Welcomes iMBA Students from Syracuse University, USA

The Syracuse University (SU) Whitman School of Management, International MBA (iMBA programme) was hosted by DCU Business School recently. The 20-strong group of executives was led by Professor Dennis Gillen, SU, and co-hosted by Professor Patrick Flood, DCUBS.

The week-long programme featured contributions on leadership and entrepreneurship in the Irish economy by DCU Business School’s Professor Colm O' Gorman, Professor Flood, Dr Aoife Mc Dermott, Dr Johann Coetsee and Dr Janine Bosak. It was expertly facilitated by Professor Brian Leavy and the Centre for Executive Programmes led by Bernadette Mc Culloch and her team.
 
The experience was enriched by industry experts including Niall Saul, McNamara Construction and Alex Mc Donnell, Mc Law and Associates. A feature of the programame was their visit to Irish Distillers Ltd.(IDL) hosted by John Purcell, Director of Leadership Development, and addressed by the Head of International Marketing at IDL, Howard Southern.
 
The visit was pronounced a great success and marks the development of closer bonds between DCUBS and the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
