Dr Sarah Ingle appointed Director of Quality Promotion, DCU

Dr Sarah Ingle of DCU Business School has been appointed to the position of Director of Quality Promotion, DCU.
In her new role Sarah will head up DCU's Quality Promotion Unit. The unit plays a key role in implementing the university’s quality promotion agenda. Sarah will have responsibility for the promotion, implementation and further development of the University’s Quality Promotion strategies and procedures, including the provision of an advice and support service to Faculties, Schools, Offices and other academic and administrative units within the university.
Dr Sarah Ingle is Lecturer in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at DCU
Business School. Her Primary and Masters degrees are in Production
and Industrial Engineering, from TCD and UCD respectively, and she
has worked in Irish industry as a chartered engineer in three
multinational companies. She graduated with a Ph.D. in Strategic
Management from DCU in 2000.
Sarah's research interests include business incubation (policy,
management and measurement), and entrepreneurship education. She was
awarded a Fulbright Research Scholarship to Arizona State
University, USA for the Spring Semester of 2007. In 2006, 2008 and
2009 she was nominated by her final year students for the DCU
President's Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
Sarah is an Edward de Bono Six Thinking Hats Trainer and a Certified
Entrepreneurship Teacher for the National Foundation for Teaching
Entrepreneurship (NFTE). Along with her ongoing teaching, research
and university activities, she has recently worked in the area of
Quality Improvement Projects within DCU Business School.
