DCU Conference on Improving People Performance in Healthcare

The Health Service Research Group at the Learning, Innovation and
Knowledge (LInK) Research Centre hosted a one-day conference on the
theme of 'Improving People Performance in Healthcare' on Friday, 10th September
2010.
The conference was delivered in association with our network
partners: King's College London, Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, and
Tilburg University.
Keynote speakers were Professor Denise M. Rousseau, the H.J. Heinz II University Professor of Organizational Behavior and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University's H. John Heinz III College and the Tepper School of Business; and Professor Jaap Paauwe, Professor of Human Resource Studies at Tilburg University.
Professor Rousseau delivered a truly insightful morning keynote lecture titled 'Evidence-Based Practice: Keeping Health and Performance in our Line of Sight'.
The morning session posed the question 'What makes a good health service employer?' (INFO ON SPEAKERS HERE)
Professor Paauwe's keynote lecture focused on Embeddedness of HRM/Performance Research in Health.
